Founded in 2002, BimBimis one of the bigger adult cam streaming websites out there. At any given time, there are more than 1,000 online models from a roster of thousands of sluts who stream at other times. #2. First Impressions
It’s been a while since I’ve seen a design so disgusting, boring, and confusing as what the “designers” of BimBim have crafted. It’s one of the worst things that exist on a plane. We’d rather surf edgy internet pages from the 2000s with snowflake animations, shooting stars, and other nonsense than see the starting page of BimBim again. I can’t think of anything that has been done right here, and the best way to stream or use this site is by going to the camgirls’ page directly.
No, there’s a single redeeming quality before all the negative things I'd like to point out. If you click on the tiny “mobile page” link at the bottom, the messy layout improves but is far from delightful. At least you can see the said performers and don’t get hundreds of them at once like a pile of vomit. Anyhow, what’s wrong with BimBim? The thumbnails are way too small and too close to one another. It’s impossible to know what the camgirl is doing since those pictures aren’t even life nor resemble current experiences. Take BongaCams, for example, it has live thumbnails straight from the chatroom, and it’s all simple. You commit to a click and get what was already displayed on the homepage. Chaturbate, on the other hand, uses screencaps, but those do refresh, and again, every screenshot is of the current stream.
How does BimBimwork? They dump a bunch of random profile pictures, most of which suck and aren’t likeworthy. Even worse, most if not all of the “galleries” are safe for work. There’s a boob or a nipple slip in 1 out of 100 streamers, but the rest are just avatars. This isn’t a forum of any kind, nor should a proper cam site work this way; it sucks. To be fair, everything about BimBim’s approach to a live show and previews suck too. In defense of BimBim, there’s a way to preview the live feed, but that’s not intuitive, at all. The rest of experience is good, though and that’s where the camwhores of the 21st century come from.

Despite its name, BimBim offers three packages to members that want more out of their experience. These include a plan for 200 ($19.99), 550 ($49.99), and 900 ($74.99) credits. Group shows cost on average 10 credits per minute, while private shows go for 50-80 tokens per minute which can add up quickly. One thing to remember is that you can always let others do the tipping and still get to see lots of action. Streams are not always in HD but the quality, in general, is fairly good if not excellent.
Like other similar websites, BimBim has an impressive 3,000+ registered models and more than 1,000 performers online at any given time. Unfortunately, you'll only find girls here, whether straight or lesbian. Other than that, models range from 18 to 99 years old, although I didn’t see a single granny, if you know what I mean. It’s not like they aren’t there but the mainstream crowd prefers hot babes in their prime. However, BimBim doesn’t have a maximum age restriction nor is any other site except for LiveJasmin, maybe. Those guys specialize in stunning models and it’s hard to match saggy GILF tits with sexy.
Like with quotes during my initial impressions, the layout on BimBim isn't very appealing. Everything looks a bit tightly packed with an outdated design. Yes, visitors may preview a performer's cam without opening a link and to do so, mouse over the thumbnail and look for the tiny camera icon at the top right corner. You click on that and a screenshot will appear. Or just skip that and look at a menu since it has lots of useful information as well as functions. Another thing worth mentioning is a model explorer that sorts performers by filters like weight, hair, hobbies, ethnicity, etc., but there is no advanced search.
How does BimBim compete with Chaturbate, the number one cam site? There are some exclusive models on the former, but the reality is this, a lot of popular sluts stream everywhere. It comes down to your preference and preferred layout, but the tipping structure of Chaturbate alone makes it a winner in my book although higher-quality cams (up to 1080p with visible bitrate) are way better on BimBim.
Going back to my point about tips, Chaturbate has a clear layout that any camgirl can implement. You have a tip menu that shows goals and “rewards”. Hit 300 tips for fingering, 500 for anal, 800 for double penetration, etc. Everything is as clear as day! I didn’t find such a feature on BimBimand its chatroom wasn’t displaying the same messages that were visible on Chaturbate. Maybe tip on Chaturbate and stream on BimBim for the best quality? That’s one of the workarounds, although not perfect. Still, I think the bigger issue is the design that I’ve been trashing for the last hour. It’s such a simple fix that one could do it in a week or so, given a technical understanding of a cam site.

I’ve streamed hundreds, if not thousands of hours of content on BimBim, and it deserves its spot among the best cam sites. You get many babes that are always online and some exciting features despite a busy and somewhat dated layout. Skip the homepage and you’re fine.
